When a lockout occurs of a rental property managed by Chippewa Valley Property Management, tenants shall contact either the office during regular business hours or the emergency phone if after hours or holidays.
During Regular business hours if a lock out occurs, the tenant may request a copy of their key which must be returned within 24 hours and come to the office for the key pick up. A $25 refundable charge will be placed on their ledger until the key is returned within 24 hours.
A valid ID is required when requesting a key to enter a property. Keys will not be given to unleased tenant unless approval from tenant is received.
After hours lockouts Will be referred to Pop-A-Lock. In the event Chippewa Valley Property Management has to assist in opening a unit the Tenant will be charged at the discretionary expense of CVPM’s overtime rates. Rates during holiday lockouts increase to $100.
Tenants locked out after hours, shall call the emergency line and leave a detailed voicemail including name, address and phone number and a member of staff will return your call.
